How can you Contain it?
The journey to declutter our homes is a process.
Not only must you decide what to keep, but you have to decide what to throw away, recycle or donate the rest of your stuff. Next, what to use to contain your treasures, household items, food, and the garden/ garage stuff.
A happy memory is a forever joy!
And you don’t have to do everything at once. Let’s take small steps to contain and organize the home. There are many ways to contain things from boxes, baskets, buckets, plastic bins, jars, vases, drawers, bins, decanters, suitcases! The list is long and extensive. Finding fun unique storage ideas is awesome.
Once you decide on a specific area or need to organize you can look for storage ideas. First start with what you have in your home. You don’t need to spend a lot of time or money choosing containers your kitchen, food, office papers, crafts, toys, or shoes. Think out of the box with glass jars, metal buckets, tall coffee cups, or new uses for a magazine holder.
Only after you have exhausted your containers from inside your home do you venture to the store to search for other types of containers. Then when searching, make it a specific organization goal and not just “shopping.”
Buckets.
When I think of buckets I tend to think of the garden or garage. I use the buckets for weeding, collecting rain water or collecting fruit. It’s time to rethink buckets and their use inside the home.

Metal buckets: Makeup brushes.

Colorful buckets for toys, Legos, action figures.

Place buckets by the entryway for keys, loose change, or cell phone cords.
Large entryway buckets for umbrellas.

Buckets in the craft area for the kids it can hold crayons, colored pencils, or markers.

Use festive buckets with rabbits, pumpkins, trees as a seasonal decoration on end tables in the family room.
Place the remote, pencils, notepad, and lotion in the bucket or use the festive bucket for seasonal sweet treats.
And after a day of organizing settle in by this bucket or that one and enjoy

your accomplishment.
